In a series of complaints to state and federal authorities, the Freedom Foundation alleges that the Pennsylvania teachers union and the Democratic Governors Association executed an illegal scheme to use nearly $1.5 million in teachers’ union dues to back then-candidate Josh Shapiro’s 2022 gubernatorial campaign.
