New York: 54 opt-outs in one historic day

On July 10, the Freedom Foundation celebrated a groundbreaking victory for public employees across New York State. In a record-breaking achievement, 54 individuals chose to reclaim their financial freedom by canceling their union dues on the same day.

Of these, 43 left the New York Civil Service Employees Association (CSEA).

This success is the direct result of our strategic mail and email campaigns, including an impactful 4th of July brochure, an eye-opening Inflation postcard and our detailed mail piece on financial savings.

These materials struck a chord with many, highlighting the benefits of taking their hard-earned money away from big government unions and keeping it for their own needs.

Our 4th of July brochure reminded employees of the freedoms our nation was founded upon, inspiring them to assert their independence.

The Inflation postcard delivered a timely message on rising costs, showing how their money could be better spent elsewhere.

Lastly, our financial savings mail piece provided a clear picture of the money saved by canceling union dues.

One former CSEA member shared their experience, saying, “I opted out because I didn’t think the dues were worth it. I can spend my own money better than they can.”

This record-breaking day underscores the power of targeted, honest messaging. Each opt-out represents a victory for personal freedom and a step toward a fairer system for public employees.

The Freedom Foundation remains steadfast in its commitment to advocating for the rights of public employees, ensuring they are aware of their right to opt out and the benefits that come with it.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us. Together, we are making a difference and paving the way for a future where every public employee has the freedom to choose.

Let’s keep the momentum going and strive for even greater milestones ahead.
