Huckabee to Headline Freedom Foundation’s Oregon Banquet

Having already lined up an appearance by one Fox News personality this fall, the Freedom Foundation has announced another will be its guest just a few weeks later.

Former Arkansas governor and Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee, who hosts his own TV show, Huckabee, will be the keynote speaker at the annual banquet for the organization’s Oregon operation on Nov. 9th at the Salem Convention Center.

Huckabee is a Fox News Contributor and his colleague, Laura Ingraham, was earlier announced as the speaker for the parent organization’s annual banquet scheduled for Sept. 21 at the Bellevue (Wash.) Hyatt Regency.

“We’re thrilled to host a speaker of Mike Huckabee’s accomplishments and reputation for this special night,” said Freedom Foundation National Director Aaron Withe. “The Freedom Foundation is a serious player on the national stage and its supporters are entitled to an event featuring a serious, accomplished national voice.”

Huckabee — an ordained Baptist minister — served as governor of Arkansas from 1996 to 2007. Since leaving office he has also authored several best-selling books.

He ran for president in 2008 — winning the Iowa Republican caucus and finishing second in delegate count and third in both popular vote and number of states won to John McCain and Mitt Romney — and again in 2016.

Huckabee is the father of Sarah Huckabee Sanders, who recently stepped down after two and a half years as President Donald Trump’s press spokesperson.

Tickets to see Mike Huckabee will be on sale soon, tickets to see Laura Ingraham in Bellevue are already selling fast. Purchase yours here: https://www.freedomfoundation.com/events/freedom-foundations-annual-dinner/
