Before working for the Freedom Foundation, McKenzie lived in Northern Argentina for a year and a half, which is where she learned Spanish. She also helped develop a liberal arts school curriculum that is currently being tested at a private school in Las Vegas. McKenzie graduated from Brigham Young University with a major in political science and a minor in communications. In her free time, McKenzie loves to read and write philosophy outside in the sunshine and go to the dog park with her Australian Shepherd.
