Dallas, TX—The Freedom Foundation is proud to announce the launch of the Teacher Freedom Alliance (TFA), a new partner organization designed to offer educators an alternative to union membership. The creation of TFA comes on the heels of the Freedom Foundation’s success with its annual Teacher Freedom Summit (TFS).
Over the past two years, TFS has brought together more than 500 educators from 35 states, providing a platform to educate teachers about their first amendment rights for union representation and the various resources available to them. The Teacher Freedom Alliance is bringing teachers together from all over the country to restore education and make the need for teachers unions obsolete.
“Public employees are leaving their unions in record numbers, frustrated by the funding of radical agendas driven by union bosses,” said Freedom Foundation CEO Aaron Withe. “The Teacher Freedom Alliance offers an alternative for pro-America educators who seek to restore traditional values in the classroom and provide students with the high-quality education they deserve—free from political influence and union control.”
Background:
The Teacher Freedom Alliance (TFA) was created to address the growing frustration teachers have with the direction public education is rapidly heading in no small part due to the radical agenda of the teachers unions. The Teacher Freedom Alliance supports educators in their mission to develop free, moral, and responsible citizens. As an alternative to traditional unions, TFA offers pro-America educators a place to find support and comradery in an organization dedicated to restoring the broken education system—without any additional cost to those who choose to join.
TFA is committed to promoting traditional educational values, providing teachers with superior resources, and fostering a school culture where educators are empowered to advocate for themselves and their students with an emphasis on excellence in the classroom over radical ideologies. With teachers increasingly disillusioned by the agendas and reckless political spending of union leadership, TFA offers a much-needed alternative.
What Teachers are Saying about the Teacher Freedom Alliance:
“Thank you so much for opening my eyes to the truth of teacher unions.”
“Thank you for facilitating the empowerment of teachers to disengage from unions and focus on student achievement.”
“Thank you for providing an opportunity for teachers like me to realize I am not alone.”
“Thank you so much for this opportunity to learn. I had no idea that the union did not fight for students and teachers like they claim. I also did not realize I had Freedom Foundation to call for support. Knowledge is power and this retreat gave me power that I did not have. What a great opportunity! Huge thank you!!!”
