1,000 opt out week

Most people wake up every day and wonder if they made a difference. At the Freedom Foundation we never have that problem — especially after a week like last week.

In all, the Freedom Foundation helped 1,304 people leave their union during that span — which translates to more than $1 million in dues money drained from union coffers.

The organization has exceeded the 1,000 opt-out threshold only handful of times before; 1,300 is unprecedented.

And it’s no accident. Our success is the result of a strategic investment in outreach. We’ve honed our ability to engage the right union members, at the right time, with the right message.

We’ve ramped up our mail campaigns, and our email efforts are more effective this year than ever before.

Our digital campaigns are also delivering unprecedented results.

At the Freedom Foundation, we’re committed to continuous improvement. We’re breaking records and, more importantly, we’re making a difference every single day.
