Yesterday, Everett business owner Tom Hoban authored an excellent — and totally unsolicited — guest opinion piece published by the Everett Herald newspaper. Hoban explains how he was once forced to join a local union without being given a choice.

“It didn’t feel American”, he said.

Hoban also goes on to articulately explain the Freedom Foundation’s statewide battle to give public employees freedom of choice when it comes to joining a union – a choice he was never given.
